This is Roger.

Text, Film, Art and Technology: Recurring themes in his work and passion for life. A lot of Computer Science lectures in his 20's and for many years consultant at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zürich), where he was primarily dealing with Broadcast Technology and Video on the Internet as well as co-architecting the successful Podcast Portal.

In addition to his tasks at the university he worked as a Director and Editor on several short- and documentary films such as Paris Visite or Eat Snow, some of them shown in competition at international film festivals.

Furthermore, he was a film critic for a public radio station (for almost a decade) and the fact that he's an avid music lover led to collaborative projects with Christy Doran's New Bag, Grand Pianoramax from New York and Tonhalle Zürich.

In the last couple of years he spent most of his time as a writer for magazines and newspapers, with published articles in NZZ Folio, Weltwoche, Bilanz and others. Because of his passion for ideas, however, he decided to pursue a career as a copywriter in the advertising industry. His first stint was with Jung von Matt/Limmat; he's now with Spillmann/Felser/Leo Burnett.

Roger lives in Zürich, Switzerland, and believes that it never rains in Southern California.
